Dignified Silence!

This is not a perfect World. And no matter how good a person you are, you cannot escape the consequences and (negative part) of being a part of this not-so-perfect Word.

So, there will be a lot of people who will spread bad-words about you. And you can do nothing about it. In fact you need not.

These people are very good at fabrication of facts. They are specialized in lying, manufacturing prevarications, vilification and breaking the trust.

They are born that way. You may trust them blindly, you may throw away all you have for them....but they will never be loyal to you. They will break your heart, they will spit fire and they will backstab you.

So, what should one do in this case? Shouldn't one clarify his/her side to others?

No need to do that. If you have not done no wrong, there is no need to clarify. Dogs may bark but an elephant goes on regardless. And only dogs will listen seriously to such barking dogs. Rest of the people will take it as an entertainment.

There will be people who will blindly believe in what these crooks have to say. But you can't help them. These kinds of people do not have their own brains. They cannot judge right from wrong, good from bad, hoax from truth. They dont have the capability to think on their own and form their own opinions. They rely on others to make decisions on their behalf. And above all they think they are very smart. You can take a horse to water but you can't make him drink. So, this is the class of people you should not be bothered of. And even the World will be better off without such mindless zombies.

May God have a mercy on them. Ignore them...because you have much more important work to do!

Fortunately, World is blessed with many sensible people too. They know the difference between truth and baseless allegations. They understand that creating a scene/drama or making emotional appeal does not mean the person is speaking truth. In fact, shallow water makes much noise. The one pleading for innocence is not innocent at all. Let me quote few lines from a Hindi Movie Song (though not very great):

"Duniya re Duniya....very good very good,

Duniyawale.....very bad very bad.

Nichewale.......very bad very bad.

So, the best strategy to tackle this unfortunate situation is - to keep Dignified Silence. You should never retaliate against such barbarians....because they do not deserve it. They should not be taken seriously. Forgive them. They will not change. Never argue with fools, they'll bring you down to their level & beat you with experience. How true! So be what you are and do what you do...the good deeds!

Silence is a music to wise man and the best answer to stupid. It is a fence around the wisdom and interpreter of happiness. It is the true friend that never betrays. The tree of silence bears the fruits of peace. You will find that silence or very gentle words are the most exquisite revenge for insult.

In the long run, such fools will loose their respect and credibility (if they have any). They will never get along with anyone. People will start getting irritated and annoyed by them and start ignoring them. The circumstances themselves will prove you right. You will come out of it unscathed and as a clear Winner!

So...no matter what...keep the Dignified Silence. That is the key.
